About Arrivly
Why we built this
When my wife and I first navigated the Australian education and settlement system, we visited three different agents and spent weeks researching basic questions — which SIM card to get, which health insurance was right, which bank account was best for international transfers.
The information was scattered, often biased by commercial relationships, and rarely honest about limitations.
We built Arrivly to be the resource we wished existed.
What makes us different
We verify everything manually.
Every plan on this site has been checked against the provider's official website or published documents. We show the date and source of every verification.
We admit when we don't know.
When Lycamobile's website couldn't be fully verified (their site is JavaScript-rendered), we flagged it. When no Australian SIM includes unlimited Nepal calls, we say so rather than pretending otherwise.
We include plans we don't earn from.
If a plan is genuinely good for users, it goes on the site regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship.
We explain the tricks.
The 28-day billing cycle that costs you an extra month per year. The "unlimited" plans that cap speeds at 40Mbps. The international calling inclusions that sound generous until you read the country list.
Who we are
We are based in Sydney, New South Wales.
We have been through the international student and skilled migrant journey in Australia.
We are not a financial institution, insurance broker, or migration agent.
Our long-term vision
Right now we compare SIM cards, health insurance, bank accounts, and money transfer services.
Our longer vision is to help international students navigate every step of building a life in Australia — from the first week after landing to finding the right study pathway to building toward permanent residency.
